This motion simulator synchronizes an audio-visual presentation with the motion of the capsule. The simulator capsule accommodates 30 persons and has six degrees of motion, three rotational degrees of freedom (roll, pitch, and yaw) and three translational or linear degrees of freedom (surge, heave and sway).
Installed in 1997, this motion simulator, named as Time Machine, encapsulates occupants and creates the feelings of being in a moving vehicle. The movement is synchronous with visual display and is designed to create a virtual environment.
